In the 1950's on Coney Island the life of a woman (Kate Winslet) and her second husband (Jim Belushi) have their lives disrupted when she starts an affair with a young lifeguard (Justin Timberlake) and his estranged daughter (Juno Temple) turns up who is avoiding her ex-husband who is part of the mob. As is typical with Woody Allen films this is mainly about the relationship between the characters. There is a very good performance from Kate Winslet as the wife, mother and lover in turmoil with support from Juno Temple.
